Come relax and have fun with the family. The cabin is across from Porter mountain which has hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. National forest backs up to the cabin. There are miles of off-roading trails waiting to be explored! We do have a small horse corral with a water trough where you can stall your equine. Or just a short drive down the road you can “rent” a trail horse at Porter Mountain Stables if you don’t have your own horse. Scott’s reservoir is just 6 miles down the road and there are many other lakes nearby such as Rainbow Lake, Show Low Lake, Fool Hollow Lake, etc. Sunrise Ski resort is about a 45 min drive away. You can snowboard or ski in the winter. Then in the summer you can downhill mountain bike or zip line or rock climb. See their website for details and updates. There are also golf courses nearby. This is the cabin to relax at as well as the perfect location for fun!

Summary: The cabin was clean and comfortable.The owners thought of everything when it came to having what we needed in the kitchen and otherwise. It was a little warm in the afternoon, but nice and cool in the mornings amd evenings. Very cozy!
