This newly-renovated modern mountain chalet is close to Winter Park skiing, Granby lakes, and Rocky Mountain National Park! Enjoy 270-degree mountain views from inside or on the wrap-around deck with lots of seating, grill, and gorgeous views overlooking the Continental Divide and views of Longs Peak. Stay warm inside with a wood-burning fireplace, indoor hot tub, and sauna. Filled with natural light, high ceilings, plants, and art from local Colorado artists, this home is the perfect mountain get-away. Great location (15 min to Winter Park ski resort, 15 min to Granby) all while being secluded on 3 acres in a welcoming upscale neighborhood in the hills. Snow tires/4wd required in Winter.
The Space
The primary bedroom includes an en suite bath with double vanity, king tempurpedic bed and a private deck. Guest bedroom 1 has a king bed and work station and the lofted guest bedroom 2 has a queen bed and desk work station. The two upstairs guest bedrooms share an oversized bathroom. The main-floor guest bedroom has a double bunk bed with a twin top and a twin pull-out trundle bed. There’s a full bath just outside the bedroom. Brand new (January 2026) washer and dryer are on the second floor near the guest bedrooms.
The main floor is an open concept kitchen / dining / living room with vaulted 30' ceilings in the main room with the fireplace, 55” Smart TV and vinyl record set up. Our record collection is limited so bring some of your favorite tunes with you, or if you're more into wireless speakers, virtually plug into our Sonos system.
Our chef's grade kitchen got a big upgrade (February 2022) including a 5-panel induction cook top, a new induction oven (January 2026) and oversized refrigerator including a beer fridge for keeping the beverages ready to go. The custom-built floating shelves are adorn with a range of plants and objects collected from our travels to over 85 countries and we have a cabinet full of games to keep everyone engaged and having fun.
The sauna is off of the hot-tub room where the indoor hot tub is ready for your arrival. The entrance is near the two-car garage which has a 220-v Tesla electric charger for quick charging and keeping your vehicle/s out of the snow.
Extra awesome last note: we have great wifi for the mountains (best you will find) - Starlink. The connection here is faster than our place in Denver!
Guest access
You'll let yourself in and out with a key pad on the front door. We do use video for security reasons, so if you plan to have pets and/or more than the 8 person limit, please let us know ahead so we can avoid awkward conversations.
Other things to note
There's no place to note that there is a 3-person sauna which is our favorite thing to do after a long day of skiing or even a short hike. Please make sure to rinse off before using the hot tub or the sauna, and explain to the kiddos that peeing in the hot tub requires a full water replacement which takes time to reheat which means time away from hot tubbing! (and costs the guest a $100 fee to have our hot tub company come clean it).
We are pet-friendly but given the additional cleaning required and potential for damages, we charge a $100 pet fee that is passed along to the cleaners. Also, please let us know in advance if you plan to travel with pets as we will need to confirm the additional deep clean is available on your departure date.
