Being on the penthouse also has the advantage of not hearing noise from above, no running footsteps in the above hallways; best view of the Gulf and surrounding lake and this location is an easy walk to the trash chute, kept cleaned and just outside the main floor entrance.
I wish you 100% sunny days but if you should have to wait out a cloud or two this unit has the electronics to enjoy the wait. Key less, card less entry eliminates 'lost in the sand' or 'whose got it?' scenarios between guests.
