Summary: Nice hotel, modern well-furnished rooms, great staff. Windows don't block out a lot of sound from the outside, but if you face Liverpool Street it's fairly quiet most of the time, so it's worth requesting that. Great location close to transit as well as walkable to sight-seeing. A few minor maintenance issues keep me from rating the hotel full stars, but I would have no hesitations about staying there again.
