Positive: We came to Sayulita for a romantic getaway and Maramara Playa honestly blew us away. The hotel is literally on the sand — you open the floor-to-ceiling windows and it feels like the beach is part of your room. Each unit comes with a big private balcony that sits right over the beach, so we spent a ton of time out there just watching the waves and those insane sunsets. It made waking up and winding down feel kind of magical. The place is brand new and the design is super clean, modern, and simple in the best way. It has that small boutique feel — peaceful, stylish, and really well thought out. The staff communication was great from the start. Before we even arrived, they sent us a custom guide that basically laid out the whole town… where to eat, what to do, hidden gems, everything. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, relaxed, and genuinely helpful. We loved the beach club and the beach patio — both included with the stay and perfect for lounging, reading, having a drink, or just watching the surf. And if you’re a surfer, the break is basically right out front. You’re 20 steps from the water. I’d recommend this place to couples, families, solo travelers — and definitely surfers. If you want a modern, comfortable beachfront stay with incredible views and great people, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back.
