This gorgeous Green Valley stand-alone home is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Green Valley is located about 20 miles south of Tucson with a desert climate that is typically sunshiny and warm. The home is in the Traditions of Desert Creek area, an age-restricted community, requiring that at least one resident be over 55. It is less than a mile from multiple Green Valley Recreation (GVR) enters, each containing a lovely pool and spa, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and many activities. Owners are members of GVR and this access to can be transferred to renters. It is a wonderful neighborhood with friendly neighbors and many activities.
The stand-alone 1,700 SF house has 2-3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an upgraded master bathroom with dual sinks & walk-in shower. There is a very large walk in closet off of the master for all your attire and accessories. There is a day bed with an additional tundra bed in the second bedroom. There are TVs with remotes in both bedrooms. The house is an open floor plan with decorative colors, fireplace & tile floors. It has a large eat in kitchen that comfortably seats 4 – 6. In the living room you will find comfortable seating for socializing. The third bedroom is currently set as a media room with an entertainment center with Dish TV, a DVD player and DVR. Patio doors off the kitchen look out on to a private walled backyard with mountain views and a patio containing an eating area and gas barbecue. For convenience the pantry/laundry room off the kitchen has ample room for storage. High speed wireless internet is included but there is not a computer in the house at this time. The house has a three car garage for parking, easy access and additional storage. There is also 1 bicycle available.
The GVR pools and community centers are a short drive or bike ride away and nearby you will find grocery stores, drug stores, movie theatre, shopping, numerous restaurants and everything else you will need to make your stay comfortable. There is easy access to I-19 and downtown Green Valley. Surrounding Green Valley are many golf courses and other points of interest in the area such as Madeira Valley, renowned for bird watching, the Desert Museum, the Tubac artist colony and Kartchner Caverns State Park. Nogales, Mexico, is approximately 40 miles south. The sun shines over 330 days a year in Arizona so your umbrella will not be needed. Mt. Lemmon, north of Tucson, is the southern-most ski area in the continental United States.
