Positive: The open air inner courtyard connecting the home and the rooftop terrace! Winding around this courtyard are the two perfectly appointed bedrooms of the lower apartment, two full bathrooms, the large dining room, the even larger living room, an offshoot meditation nook and office and, finally, an enormous kitchen with anything anyone could want or need. Everything about this home is quality with an eye on beauty and comfort. Back to the rooftop terrace- My wife and I spent much of our time enjoying the incredible views, sipping coffee and wine under the covered terrace shade portion, relaxing and taking in the pleasant sounds of Guanajuato. Being indoor/outdoor at all times during mid January was such a treat. Being surrounded by various plants and cacti completed the amazing terrace. The owners did everything they could to make us feel welcome and at home, checking in on us just enough and not fussing with too much, but always just a quick message away. They were so kind to allow us to stay a few extra days longer than planned due to bad weather in the US. Speaking on the phone with Victor has been nothing but lovely, during our stay and since. Casa del Limon is a treasure. Guanajuato is amazing. My wife and I will not forget our time there and how lucky we feel to have found this listing. Honestly, we can't believe how lucky. A top three place we have ever stayed around the world. Thank you, Victor, Matteo and Sandra!
