Positive: We had a great time at Almar. Two women, surrounded by gay guys. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was super friendly. Special call out to Darya, who waitresses at the Mantamar beach club, she is wonderful. Also Mayra, Eden restaurant bartender. All of the staff were very kind and friendly. Also special notice for the folks who work there who were incredibly kind and helpful to a few guests who, whoops, got a little too happy (drunk) in the 5th floor Eden pool bar and restaurant. Hey, it happens. They very gently and discreetly lead them back to their rooms. The food and drinks were excellent. It’s not cheap, but worth it and a great splurge.

Negative: Not enough water provided in rooms. We had to buy large bottles of water to drink and use in the in room coffee machine.

Summary: Great fun!
